Uniforms

Here's everything you need to know about uniforms:

The club maintains an inventory of extra uniforms in all sizes.  Depending on your situation, you can:

  • Buy a new one (perhaps you forgot to do this when you first registered, or perhaps your darling child has lost theirs).  The cost is the same as if you had bought one initially; that is, $30.
  • Swap an unused one for a new one of a different size (you never know when a growth spurt will happen!)
  • Buy individual pieces;  Jerseys cost $14 each (red or white), Shorts are $13, Socks are $3.

In all cases, contact Jon Dehn, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , with your specifics.  The coach or the parent can make a request.

Rec Games

  1. What happens if we can't field a team?
For games where one or both teams doesn't have enough players to play, we do not reschedule the game.  If you know ahead of time, it's possible that we can work out a reschedule.  If one team doesn't show up, the other coach should let us know at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 2. What happens if a game gets rained out?
    1. if the games were canceled ahead of time (and there was a notice on our website), they will be rescheduled if possible.  Some seasons we have so many rain-outs there aren't enough make up days to accommodate them.  We try to reschedule during the regular season by playing on Friday nights or Sunday afternoons.
    2. If the game was canceled by the referee at the field, the coaches should notify us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , so we know to reschedule it.  Both coaches have that responsibility.
  3. What happens if the ref doesn't show?
The game can go on with parent referee(s) if both coaches agree.  If not, we will try to reschedule it. Please let us know in either case at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
  4. What happens if there are no nets?
Field set up is the responsibility of the home team on the first game of the day.  That is noted on the schedules.  If you are not the first game of the day, and there aren't any nets, they should be available in the shed at the Damascus Regional Park.  But if that is the case, please notify us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it so we can find the culprit.
  5. How do I know which color uniform to wear?
For Damascus Soccer Club Recreational League games, the home team wears red and the visiting team wears white.
